Our Vision:
The purpose of the Developmental
Disabilities Certificate Program is to support the education and
career advancement of New York state and voluntary not-for-profit
agency workers in the field of mental retardation and developmental
disabilities. Through SUNY Brockport baccalaureate courses, current
and future personnel who provide care and services to people with
developmental disabilities can obtain valuable knowledge and
experience in disability related fields of study.
Our Mission:
The DDCP
provides you
an 18-credit course of study through the SUNY College at Brockport
School of Professions, focusing on a wide range if issues relating to
developmental disabilities. The program is offered at both bachelor's
and master's levels and includes three core courses, two electives,
and an internship. The program is approved by the New York State
Education Department.
